Western Digital External Hard Drive, are they good?
I'll be buying an external hard drive to quickly back up files from my PC that I do not want to lose (mostly pictures, images, Photoshop files /, videos and music). I heard a lot about Western Digital External Hard Drives, are they a pretty good brand? and if so, where is the best place to buy or should I order one? Basically I'm looking an external hard dive which is reliable but not very expensive.
Yes, Western Digital and Seagate are probably the two most reliable brands on the market. You can find them in retail stores like Best Buy, although online retailers like NewEgg, Tiger Direct and Amazon may have better prices. Evaohell makes excellent all drives eventually fail, regardless of manufacturer. Redundancy is the only security.
